OUR STORY

How God established CJKBM Patimbao

Patimbao Church

PATIMBAO CHURCH

Since [Year Established]

When did it begin?.

CJKBM Patimbao is now five years as a church in Brgy. Patimbao, Sta. Cruz, Laguna. By the grace of God, it continues to grow and flourish. It began during the pandemic as a simple fellowship in a compound—just casual conversations, prayers, and studying the Word of God. It started with a few young people, fathers, and mothers, but because of God’s mercy and grace, it grew and multiplied.

On March 27, 2019, a cell group started at Olivete Compound in Sitio 6a, Brgy. Patimbao. Meetings were usually held every Saturday afternoon, once a week, and this continued for one year before it was officially declared a “Church.” At first, the gatherings were held in a small hut, with around 20–25 regular attendees youth, mothers, fathers, or about 5–7 families.

After four years of faithfully serving God in that small hut, the church family of CJKBM Patimbao gradually grew. Other ministries also began, such as Kids, Youth, and Women’s fellowship. Through the united prayers of the brethren, God blessed us with a building that can accommodate 100–120 people.

Truly, God has never failed us and He has been faithful to His promises. Now, in our fifth year, we are already using the building that He entrusted to us. Every Sunday, around 60–80 people attend the service youth, mothers, fathers, and children. In total, there are now about 40–50 families who gather together to worship God.

We are deeply thankful to the living God who is with us, strengthening us, helping us grow, and allowing many to experience His love here in our community. We continually pray that God will reign in our lives, in our families, and in our barangay. To God be the highest praise and thanksgiving!
